Description
The second of two core skill-building instructionals designed to help students gain metalsmithing experience for jewelry making. The objective of this class is to familiarize students with the working properties of various metals. By learning how to use a jeweler’s saw, drilling, adding texture, polishing and fabricating a beautiful wearable made of multiple metals, each student will gain an understanding of the differences in texture and malleability of metals. The results – a stunning piece of jewelry sure to get complements!
Class is one two hour session, and most projects can be completed within this time, depending on each individual’s ability and the design. All materials and tools are supplied.
