Delivered to their door monthly, a lavender farm CSA subscription from GC Lavender makes a wonderful Mother’s Day gift, birthday greeting or special holiday gift!
Each month, our CSA members will receive full-sized products from our bath/beauty, culinary and/or art categories (usually 2-3 items). No peeking (and we won’t spoil the surprise), you won’t know until you open the box! Moisturizers, tea, soaps, art and more, there are so many great items you won’t know what to expect! And with so many products – a year’s membership won’t have any repeat items!
We are very proud of the lavender products we produce and do our best to ensure every item meets the highest standards and every delivery makes our customer smile. As the grower and producer/artist, we take nothing for granted and work very hard to ensure you get the very best.
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Traditional farming CSAs provide a share of the farmer’s field, providing more when plentiful and a little less early/late in the season. Because we are both the grower of fine lavender and the producer of these beautiful products, we can assure year-round availability! You will be supporting the farm by providing stable income and a base of operations. Thank you!
Why is local lavender important?
Because local produce is better for you! Much like the benefits of using local honey, using local produce provides you the local flora that aids in reducing reactions to allergens and is widely thought to promote healing. Local produce is fresher and tastier. It has been handled less, has traveled less, so it’s “greener,” and purchasing it promotes local economic sustainability.
